| The Colorado Karate
Association rules were
established in 1986 by myself and leaders of a variety of martial
arts to give each style a fair playing field in the area of open
sport karate competition. They have been modified and changed over
the years with feedback from competitors and promoters alike, to
insure the safest and fairest competition available. At the national
events, we also include divisions for Olympic style Tae Kwon Do and
Olympic style karate where we use international rules and certified
officials from those disciplines as well as the open rules. If
there is anything that I, or my staff can do to assist you in coming
to nationals, please feel free to e-mail me at Kyoshibryan@juno.com.
Also please visit the State Games web site for all new
information about the event.
